I've created models for an insert/organizer for the card game Scout, partly inspired by others I've seen. 

  • Version 3.x works well, unless you have sleeves on the cards.

  • Version 5.x works fine, especially if you sleeved your cards. It is a bit shorter vertically and horizontally.  It has a few other improvements as well.

See the illustrations and photos for details of “packing” to make it fit into the game box:

  1. Place all of the cards into the box, against one end.

  2. Place Scout chips against the other end, beside the cards:

    1. For V3.x, put all but 2 of them on their short end (3 across).

    2. For V5.x, put 10-12 of them on their short side (2 across). 

  3. Add the point tokens, Scout & Show chips and the First Player token to the insert, place the insert into the box against one end.

  4. Add the remaining Scout chips flat, with their short side against the other wall.

  5. Add the instructions on top.
