Most 3D printers with lead screws on the Z axis make use of anti back lash nuts to mitigate the play that is inherent to the interface between a screw and a nut. These anti back lash nuts are far from perfect, however. I find that they still allow for quite some play.
This design should further reduce back lash by fixing both ends of the back lash nut together. To be honest, it didn't produce any difference in print quality for me. Maybe it can if you have one of those really cheap anti back lash nuts.
I included the STEP file for anyone who wants to modify the design.
