Printing advice. All settings below are for Pruca Slicer
Prusament PETG, 0.4mm HF nozzle
Print settings:
- Body - layer height 0.25mm, structural, default settings but infill, which is cubic
- Holder - layer height 0.15, structural, default settings but perimeters, they are 3 while scarf joint placement is on contours. Print sequentially, this gives cleaner results without compromising the strength
Non printable parts:
- 3 x 8x150mm linear rails, like these
- 4 x Socket Head Cap Screws M3x15mm
- 4 x Heat inserts, m3x5.7mm, like these
Optional parts, only if you need precise leveling:
- 3 x Heat inserts, m5x9.5mm, like these
- 3 x Socket Head Cap Screws M5x30mm
- 3 x M5 nut
- 3 x M5 Cap Nuts
Once the M5 inserts are in place, then screw the cap screw, screw but do not tighten the regular nut, then screw the cap nut, finally tight the cap nut by using the regular nut. At this point you have a bit space left for adjustments. Use a spirit level to check and adjust.
