I wanted to mount my Reolink E1 Zoom upside down above my 3D Printer but the lense only rotated down a few degrees. For some reason Reolink decided it should be able to look at the surface it's mounted on over something above/below it?
If you just angle the camera directly then when it rotates to the side the view is on an angle.
This mod allows it to point almost directly down (or up depending on mounting orientation) while the video is still level when turn fully left/right.
It requires you to pop open the case (it's press fit), remove some glue stuff holding the cables in (so void your warranty I assume!?) fit this between the two parts, and re-assemble.
I've tried to provide pics to show this. It's not hard but be careful with the cables. I damaged a clip on the motor one and bent a pin putting it back together (I had done it lots while developing this so I'm sure if you're careful it'll be fine). Luckily straightening it out fixed it.
