My 2019 Toyota Highlander dash has an area to toss things. This area also has a hole to snake a usb cable through. I'm upgrading to a carplay solution soon, so I made this magsafe mount to ‘permanently’ stick an Anker Magsafe charger there.
It fits snugly via compression. no struggle to get it in, and it's not going to go anywhere. Printed in petg so the car temps wouldn't matter. My iphone 15 pro max can fit in any direction when mounted.
The model has a few areas for you to carefully wrap and conceal the cord. It has a small chamber in the back for most of the cord, a little channel that wraps around the interior 2-3x, and then you can also sort of wrap some within the inner hole of the unit as well, before it exits the bottom. I managed to get my cable perfect for dropping through the hole and plugging into the 90degree adapter i have plugged into an anker carport > usbc adapter. (it has more power than the existing usb ports).
