A new design that is less fiddly and quicker and easier to print than my previous lockable bench dogs.

Lockable bench dog pins designed for ¼" bolts, with a selection of heads for clamping workpieces, templates or jigs to your workbench, MFT or workmate.
All of the models are in the correct orientation for printing, and require no supports. You will need to print two lockable dog pin pieces, and one top, for each dog. A ¼" bolt and matching nut will also be required. I use ¼-20 x 2 ½" bolts, but anything over 2" will do. See pictures for assembly.
These ones are sized for 20mm dog holes. If there is demand, I can create models for a ¾" dog hole.
I have provided a selection of dog tops: a knurled knob, for holding jigs and templates down; and two sizes of flat sided biscuit to hold workpieces against.
As the nut is tightened the wings of the pin pieces slide over one-another and flare to lock the dog in place.
Tightening the nut when the pin is not in a dog hole will flare the wings and may lead to breakage, but they are very robust when in a dog hole.
