Read Me:
Credits to Nascarsimracing1's ACA Banshee 110 model. Parts used from this model are the rotors, stator, and motor covers. I modified most parts so it works for this siren. I'm horrible at making motor covers and stators and rotors so I just decided to use these; also because they are extremely similar to B&N motor covers, rotors, and stators.
To Nascarsimracing1. If you want me to change this model to a remix, I will gladly do so. Thank you!
This version is NOT rotational. If you wanted a rotational version of this, you may or may not have to wait a long time because I do not have the ability to make rotator gears or anything related to rotators. However, YOU CAN remix this siren and modify it to rotate if you know how. But please put all remixes on the remix page of this model. Thank you!
Print settings:
Printer: Bambu Lab X1C
Slicer: Bambu Studio
Filament: PLA, PETG for indoors. Only PETG or ASA for full time outdoor use.
Filament Brand: Whatever works best for you.
Color: Rotor: Gray, Everything else: Yellow
Supports: Only on the stator, and the rotator plate. On the inside of the top box, where all the motor wiring stuff goes, put supports starting on the floor of that area, and put them to the hole so it doesn't fail when printing. Do the same on the bottom where another hole is. That hole is also leading into the wiring area. NOT the one on the very far back. That one is for your AC cable to come out of.
Brim: No
Rafts: No
Assembly Instructions:
I've printed the siren. It all works, but I'm working on assembly instructions. For now I can give you guys the assembly instructions for the top projector.
And sorry for procrastinating on the assembly instructions for so long-
You'll need to take your top projector horn, and your bent pipe. (You MIGHT need 2 people for this.) Then push INWARD on the connector of the projector horn. (The small side) And while you are doing that screw in your screws into the bent pipe. Don't screw in one side all the way so you can still get the other screw in.
Requirements:
M3x12MM screws
M3x16MM screws
M4x14MM screws
10uF Capacitor. (9uF, 8uF, two 4uFs or two 5uFs. If you're gonna use multiple capacitors, wire them in parallel. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 2 CAPACITORS, OTHERWISE THE SIREN WON'T RUN RIGHT.)
Any sort of AC cable that can have someway of being turned on or off. (Lamp switches, power strips, etc.)
Either a DE31-00029H, DE31-00029K, or DE31-00029J. They can be found all over EBay and I recommend looking for new ones (or the newest you can find) so that the bearings are at their greatest.
One thing to note about these motors is you will have to disassemble them. To do this, first take off the gray covers. Then, someway or another, get the gray and white or black and white fan rotors off the motor shafts. Sometimes you are able to just slide them off. Other times you will have to break them. If you have to break them, that's fine because we won't be needing them for this siren. Lastly, just take off the metal pieces that held the gray covers on and then you are done! This is the best way to take apart these types of motors.
If you need help with wiring any stuff, printing, etc., just privately DM me and I will get back to you as soon as possible! :)
