Aruba AP mount for Wire Cable Trays

Custom clamp that fits my “Aruba AP Wall Mount - thin” in order to mount AP on the underside of Wire Cable Trays (Gitterbahn Kabeltragsysteme).

Customizing the wire distance for your specific cable tray

1. use caliper to measure outer and inner distance between two grate wires.
2. open freecad
3. navigate to Spreadsheet in the tree
4. edit the two distances in the spreadsheet
5. select model in tree
6. Use File → Export to export to .obj or .3mf or .stl

Printing

• print with 3+ perimeters and 0.6mm nozzle or 5+ perimeters and 0.4mm nozzle
• use high layer height for stability (e.g. 0.32mm)
• use aligned linear infill, for nice surfaces. 20% to 90% is fine. Use 50% because why not.

Assembly

before mounting the AP, assemble the two parts together and thus fast them onto the wire-grid using just one of those:

• M3 or M3.5 countersink screws and a washer and nut on the other side
• 3.5mm wooden countersink screws
