I wanted to enhance the Valheim experience by bringing a little part of it to the real world in a personalized way.

Story Time:
I have played Valheim with my wife and friends for over 400 hours (I know those are rookie numbers to many), and enjoyed every second of it. It has created some foundational memories for us all. They moved away a bit ago and Valheim (as well as video games in general have kept us close). So this was my way of presenting them with some personalized memorabilia. I also have played DRG and love that someone made a can holder out of the tankards in that game. I wanted to recreate that for my favourite game. This was also a good way to develop my new blender skills.
About the Print
The original file has the cutouts for custom magnetic name plates and a Valheim name plate. Similarly it has a screw hole and heat insert hole to ensure the handle stays on their securely. I played around with the idea of embedding a steel rod in the handle but never got around to it and it doesn't seem to be necessary after a lot of use. It was also designed with a multicolor printer in mind. I included a blank name plate holder if you want to make custom names for yourself. (Folder - Primary Print Files)
I can redo the primary model to be blank for those that don't care (no cutouts) and just like the tankard. If that would be helpful for someone. Just let me know
I printed this with standard settings and PLA (20% grid infill & .08mm Layer Height). The only odd orientation was the handle for rigidity in both horizontal and vertical directions. I didn't want to print it flat on its side to ruin the texture. So I printing it with the two tips touching the build plate and the curve pointing vertical.
