Designed at the request of my college, it's a functional replacement for the original Kuplung.
Due to the size and complexity of the model, it's a bit tricky to print. I can share my experience, but you will probably need to find your ideal settings for filament and printer.
Print experience (settings):
- 0,25mm or similar nozzle! (It's a MUST, don't even try to print it with 0,4mm it won't work. I tried)
- 0,12mm layer height (0,1mm was much harder to separate the hook from the body)
- Grid support
- 4 Perimeters
- 100% infill
- PLA
I have tried several PLA filaments from different manufacturers. For example, the Creality Value pack PLA was the best, it's a bit softer than the average PLA. The special ones like the CR-Hyper were too stiff, while the hook and a body can be separated, the connector part always broke when plugged into the wagon. The Aurapol HT110 completely fused together.
Prusament PLA and standard Aurapol PLA also worked well.
V13: I made the hook a bit slimmer to make more space between the hook and the body. Probably because of the higher airflow of the Mk4S it fused together with the V11 and the Mk4 profile.
To doo after print:
It's printed with a small nozzle, so the support should peel off easily.
After that carefully push in the rod to separate the body and the hook.
It's the hardest part, with tuned settings and good filament the rod should go in without too much force. If it's breaks you applied force in a bit sideways or a bit more tuning required ;)
Good luck with it, and happy printing! :)
