Modelled from scratch, but meant to be just like the original Prusa filament guide with some improvements:
- Longer arms with multiple guide holes, better accommodating various spools and preferred alignment
- Angled slots, allowing the filament to be inserted and removed from the guide without having to cut or unload the filament from the printer. Since the filament remains mostly vertical through the guide holes while printing, it's rare (though not impossible) for the filament to accidentally come out of the angled slots.
- The mounting holes (for M3 hardware) allow the hardware to be inserted from either side instead of only one.
This version attaches to the spool holder in exactly the same way and with the same M3 hardware as the original.
Note: This version does not accommodate PTFE sleeves in the guide holes like the original, but the guide holes are well rounded so there's no sharp edges for the filament to scrape on.
