A simple display stand I designed for my artist friend and her merchandise.
The shelves are wide enough to fit two A6 sheets horizontally, side by side. They also have small protrusions on the ends to prevent stuff from slipping out the sides.
To print this you will need a printer with a large bed, a minimum of 330mm in X or Y. Stand on the photos was printed on a Voron 2.4 350mm with a 0.4mm nozzle.
To assemble you will need:
- 2 side walls,
- 2 back walls,
- up to 4 shelves.
First insert the backplates into sidewalls, then slide in the shelves. Glue shouldn't be needed, however if it refuses to stay together with just friction apply some CA glue to the joints. You won't be able to disassemble it for transport, though.
While slicing I recommend using lots of top layers to prevent infill from showing through (I used 5). Also mind how you layout the side walls on the bed. While they are symmetrical, you should position them on opposite sides. When you assemble them the bed texture should point inward or outward instead of one in and one out.
