Echo dot's 3rd gen vertical holder
Made of 3 parts all very printable with no use of support, holds the Echo dot very gently, it's not a press fit, but a gravitational hold.
It's very easy to insert the echo dot, and doesn't scratch it but in this orientation it doesn't fall. Test it reproducing very loud music for hours.
I developed the white insert to be printed in flexible TPU so that it squeezes into place with the charger and holds it tight, without any scratches. so that all the device remains pristine.
It can easily be printed in PETG with the lowest infill percentage, but I recommend TPU.
On the back there's a cable winder that's press fit into the main body. One or two drops of superglue can be used to hold it in place more tightly.
The cable than can be passed through the hole to the Echo dot.

Print tips:
- The main body has to be printed laying down with layer height of at max 0.2 PLA or PETG can be used
- Cable winder printed laying down as well, no support needed and with layer height of 0.2max. PLA or PETG can be used.
- the white insert should be printed in flexible TPU, but can be printed in PETG with almost no infill. I strongly recommend TPU. layer height can be 0.2 or higher.
