I needed something to keep the snow from packing into the frame during snowy winter flights (mostly takeoffs and landings) in the Rockies. These panels are designed to cover the sides. They clip securely into the existing frame parts. Total additional weight to the quad is 26-30g. If heat is a concern, you may want to leave the front side panels off for additional ventilation.
