I needed a magnetic holder for my fly fishing net and had a bunch of 8 by 2 mm magnets laying around. This design uses a total of 12, 8 by 2 mm magnets for strength.
I printed this in PLA at 2 mm layer height. I pause the print at 20.20 mm to add the magnets. The included gcode has this step built in. No glue is needed a small retaining collar for the magnets is built in.
