After buying a cheap USB Type-C socket with pre-soldered wires, I ran into a common issue — no power was coming through the power lines. Turns out, the problem was a missing 5.1kΩ resistor. I had to strip the original case and add the resistor myself. Once I confirmed everything was working, I designed this model to bring it all together nicely.
