Update 21 Jan 2026: The round handled one in the photos rolled off of my printer and fell on the floor and the nose cracked. It was still functional, but I decided to reprint because personally I much prefer the hex handle ergonomics, and it has the extra benefit of not rolling off of things. So - I highly recommend going with that one. Other than that, I haven't touched my Noga handle since I've made these.
Simple handle for deburring blades that are compatible with Noga deburring tools. This means a shaft of about 3.1mm that is straight for at least 26mm, with a cutout centered about 12.5mm from the non-blade end of the tool.
I have one Noga handle but many blades and needed to have a handle in a different location, so I drew up this handle. There is a detent that lines up with the tool cutout, so you should be able to just push the blade in until it snaps into place, at which point it should turn freely.
Available in two shapes - round and hexagonal. The round is very simple, but I decided to have some fun and create a hexagonal version as well. The fit of the round in my hand is good, but the hexagonal is nicer. No surprise then that so many tools come with hexagonal handles.
Print settings
I've printed these in PETG and CF PLA. (No reason for CF other than I was trying to kill the spool.) Printed with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height, 3 walls and 20% grid infill. This should prove to be plenty strong because there is not much need for strength in the handle, and 3 shells makes the nose reasonably solid. No supports needed, and a brim shouldn't be needed if your bed adhesion is good.
