Intro:
This is an upgrade kit for the Easy Linear Stage V2 (https://www.printables.com/model/1180242-easy-linear-stage-v2-gridfinity-compatible-cad-pro) that I designed and published here on printables. This kit converts the that linear stage into a Z stage and also works for the motorized version. You can mount this kit to all other stages in the ecosystem as well as being able to mount other stages to the linear stage in this kit, making it highly versatile.
The FreeCAD design files are provided but as with all my designs the most up-to-date versions can always be found on my GitHub (https://github.com/SGTHANKI/EasyPrintedStages). The base of this Kit is still gridfinity compatible and there is an optional base “extender” that can be mounted to make the assembly less prone to falling over with a heavy load. The extender is also gridfinity compatible and when mounted the base becomes 2ux8u.
You can also check my profile for other mounting hardware for the mounting plate (the 5mmx5mm hole grid plate you can mount on top). I have other stages and adapters to mount whatever you want to the front of the stage.
