compatible carts:
large: (these all appear to be from the same manufacture, however have only confirmed fitment on the performax)

small: (i have not confirmed fitment on any of the small carts, proceed at your own risk)
feedback on fitment of other carts would be great and i will update as time goes on.
installation instructions:
step 1: cut the aluminum extrusion to fit the inside Height of the cart (note that depending on the cart some webbing may need to be cut away)
step 2: insert the first 2020 single extrusion into the cart with a square to insure that it is perpendicular to the bottom of the cart. the top and bottom drill guides well help it stay in place however using a clamp on the first one is helpful. the spacer is used in the first step to keep the drill holes in the same place despite the face that it is not being used for its primary propose.

step 3: drill the hole through the guide hole on the top and bottom then remove the top and bottom guides
step 4: mount the first rail (note the carts are not the most square, the plastic may bend a bit when tightening it, this is actually making the plastic straighter).
step 5: install spacer, the next rail and guides, then repeat steps 3-5 until finished (photo shows old spacer, new one covers full 2040 extrusion)

design standards:
to insure that everyone's parts will fit uniformly across the platform the following rules apply
- the total width of the part on the front mounting face should be 199mm
- width of part between the rails and into the cart should be 158mm or less
- front flange thickness should be 6.6mm
- mounting bolt center to center is 180mm (z axis hole spacing doesn't matter due to the rails)
- hole size for mounting screws is 5.2mm
- counter sink for flange button head bolt is 11.8mm depth of countersink is 2.6mm
- counter sink for button head bolt is 9.6mm depth of countersink is 2.6mm
modumount is a modular cart mounting system, i have spent a lot of time developing this cart system and decided to share the standard with the community. i look forward to seeing what others make with this footprint.
