I wanted a phone stand that I could easily transport in a laptop bag. The side effect is that it is now slightly over complicated. There are 3 parts. The base, joint, and top. There are holes to insert filament to keep everything in place. I just used a lighter to melt the ends to keep the filament in place. The top is the only part that needs supports. The joint has a one none rounded joint. The must be on the same side as the brace on the top part. It prevents the joint from completely folding back.
