Gauge 1 MFA wagon. Scaled up from a OO model. It was printed on a Creality K1C which has a bed 220mm x 220mm. With the size of bed the top box had to be printed in two halves. For the convenience of speed and to reduce the amount of support needed, no floor was printed, and the rims were also printed separately. I used Plasticard for the floor, after all, it’s just a plain rectangle.
There are no wheels, axles or bushes. I prefer to turn these from brass and steel, likewise the buffers. The inside measurement between the sole bars is 60mm. the holes in the axleboxes are nominally 5mm diameter and the holes in the buffer stocks are nominally 3mm diameter.
The coupling hooks are commercial items from Walsall Model Industries.
The only part you need to be careful with is removing the support from around the brake lever cage. I managed to break one of these doing just that, hence they are offered as a separate file.
The storage box is printed in four quarters. The box clips are not my design, but I cannot remember from where I copied them. If anyone recognises them, please leave a comment so I can accurately attribute the designer. Some 3mm diameter bar is needed for the hinge pins.
