I went back and redesigned my first design for the MI100 shroud to open up the internals in an effort to provide better airflow. The V2 model seems to have less blow back around the fans when compared to V1. When running at full clocks, the MI100 will still throttle itself with two 15k artic fans, however I have yet to experience any throttling with the three fan version. But I am also running my server in a case with pretty poor airflow, so that may be the cause of my high temps.
There is a pretty high chance that this shroud will also fit on the MI210, but I do not have a MI210 to do a fitment check. But from the pictures I have looked at, the cards look to be very similar except for the use of the EPS power connector on the MI210. If anyone tests this on the MI210, please let me know if it works!
Required Items:
- 2 x m3x6 screws
- allen key/hex wrench (Ball end allen key would be ideal)
- 2 or 3 x 40mm high static pressure fans
- Fan screws (often come with fan)
