The Oxford Heated Grip Controller ships with a metal bracket that uses the mounting screws for the clutch lever, and then sits above it and angled backward. This intersects the stock mirrors on a lot of bikes, so I made my own adapter that sits in front of those screws and takes up almost no space.

This works on my Kawasaki Vulcan S, which is where I got the 3D scan from for the cable cutouts, but I have included a STEP file for easy (easier) modification.

Prints in 3 parts.

I would recommend printing it in something UV resistant, resistant to heat if you live where it gets hot. Apparently black plastic tends to be UV resistant, and apparently so is TPU? If printed in a high hardness TPU overtightening the screws is less likely to crack a part, but the nylocks may be more prone to rotating in their slots. I've attempted to orient the parts so that the layer lines are under minimal load to avoid chances of delamination (though apparently TPU has high layer adhesion).

Required mounting hardware: (stainless steel recommended)

  • 2x M3 nuts (nylocks)
  • 2x M3x12 screws
  • 2x M4 nuts (nylocks)
  • 2x M4x25 screws (to mount to the handlebar)
  • 4x plastic self-tapping screws to screw the controller to the mount (designed to work with the ones for the metal plate in the original kit)
