This hooks are really helpful for mounting solarpanels to the rails on the roof. First of all, you will need to know the position where the panel should sit on the rail. Next, take two hooks (one for left, the other for right side) and put them on the panel. Take two 4,2x13 selfdrilling screws for each hook and fix the hooks on the panel.
The hooks serve a dual purpose of helping to get the panel further up on the roof as well as holding them in place for easier mounting of the original brackets.
The panel can now be put further up the roof rail-by-rail, while the hooks hold them in place.
Important: even if the hooks are quite strong, just use them as mounting support. The panels should always be mounted with the original brackets according to the used system!
If possible, print it in ASA for more durability.
The hooks have been designed to fit with the MSP-PR photovoltaic system from Schweizer. Please feel free to remix them according to your needs.
