This solves a problem where without a filament guide, a bowden tube can get stuck in the sides of a filament spool, causing a jam and misprint. This happened to me and this is my solution that is working well.
Drafted in Solidworks, this is a filament guide with a long curved 90 deg turn for the Prusa Mini Enclosure that positions the tube at the center of a 1kg filament spool. I used 2 perimeters with adaptive cubic 15% infill, no supports and it worked well. There is a hollow guideway for a the bowden tube, which should insert with some resistance where it won't move under normal use.
The standoffs feature a 3.2mm diameter center pocket with a 1 degree taper. I used an M3 tap to cut threads. I used 2 each M3 x 15mm button head screws with washers to avoid damaging the exterior finish through existing holes that use plastic rivets. A bowden tube long enough to make a loop before going into the guide allows the Z axis full travel without any binding to the tube.
The only drawback I see so far is the long bowden tube needs an equally long section of filament before it reaches the extruder. Let me know if you like it. This is my first contribution to Printables. Cheers!
