The stock spool holder that comes with the x1 isn't the greatest. For me it caused just a bit too much resistance, pulling the extruder up ever so slightly and thus some layer variation.
So I made this with two options that can be easily swapped out on the main bracket.

No supports needed. Parts should load in the correct printing orientation.
The end pins on the roller are simply pressed into the roller. You may want to use a little glue. Bearings should be light friction fit.
