“Clamp” from “Spool Holder for Enclosure” – tuned for ABS printing
My changes:
- Chamfer and fillet to help with warping and elephant's foot.
- Also reduces material usage since less material is needed to make a strong part when using a stronger filament.
- Inset holes in the thick side of the Clamp to help with adhesion, reduce material usage, reduce weight.
- Long straight lines = bad for ABS adhesion.
- Smoother “back” side (side that touches the enclosure walls) to prevent damage.
.blend file included for further remixing (used blender since I couldn't figure out how to properly import the .stl in a way that would allow me to add my modifications, tried in freecad for linux with no success).
