This is a full size 3D printed couch designed to be printed on a desktop printer. Approximately 1700mm x 500mm x 500mm.

This is a BIG print with 75 nearly full print volume pieces.
Planning how you buy your materials, and have your print settings will be the difference between this costing about $470 and $1500+. At this scale, a single percentage increase on the infill or an additional base/top layer costs around $10! Although I think the settings can be optimized slightly more, the following settings are currently what I found to work best.
Print Settings
Base Pieces (25)
- Material: PLA
- Layer height: .25
- Wall loops: 3
- Top shell: 0
- Bottom shell: 3
- Infill: 1%
- Infill Pattern: Honeycomb
Middle Pieces (25)
- Material: PLA
- Layer height: .25
- Wall loops: 3
- Top shell: 4
- Bottom shell: 2
- Infill: 2%
- Infill Pattern: Honeycomb
Top Pieces (25)
- Material: TPU (AMS TPU, For others I recommend upping the infill by a couple percent)
- Layer height: .25
- Wall loops: 2
- Top shell: 5
- Bottom shell: 2
- Infill: 5%
- Infill Pattern: gyroid
Material Quantity
- PLA: 18.5KG
- TPU: 5KG
I recommend finding a bulk deal for this quantity as you can save at least 25%
Assembly
Nothing special for this one. All pieces are superglued together. I recommend going layer by layer.
