This design was made to use a 18650 lithium battery as a portable power supply.
The size of the box is made for use of a 18650 cell with a built-in safety circuit (slightly longer).
I used a pair of contact plates designed for AA batteries (12 x 12mm) which I found on Amazon.
The rim of these plates needed to be as flat as possible. I pressed down the little noses on the rim using some tongs.
It is a very tight fit.
2x 4mm connectors were added.
To mount the lid I used 4x countersunk screws m2.5 x 4mm and 4x hexnuts m2.5.
