I bought a used guitar that didn't have the backplate on it. I couldn't find one of these anywhere and Schecter does not sell parts so after a bit of trial and error I came up with this.
This first model is designed to be printed in PLA. I printed mine with Polycarbonate and then sanded and polished it.
When using PC I had to upsize it by .5mm vertically and horizontally allow for shrinkage. That file is also included.
My finished model was printed like this:
Polymaker PC-Max
100% infill
270 degrees
115 bed temp
Sanded up to 1500 and polished with Novus # and then #2.
side note: the screws are 3mmx12mm.
