I designed this to use as many parts from the the Ender 3 as possible. (I did use one and a half) This printer uses twelve V-wheels (Four per carriage), a printed bed, and three motors for X, Y, and Z motion. It has roughly 135mm of Printable Z area with almost ⌀120mm of XY area. I am currently using an old Sprite extruder in a bowden configuration, along with a laptop running Ubuntu and Klipper.
I built mine for about $75 (not including the Ender 3s) The bill of materials is at SquirrelBrain's 120mm design. (BOM IS ROUGH I HAVE NOT YET MADE MY OWN, IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THINGS SUCH AS FASTENERS)
Special thanks to Rolohaun and SquirrelBrain for their designs!
Please let me know if you have any questions, requests, or issues!
Happy Printing!!
