This is a replacement extended mag release for the Aeon Pro X. The purpose of this design was to remove the mag release that was closer to the grip, and extend the mag release that sits closer to the mag insert. I designed this part because I wasn't a fan of the pull back mag release, and preferred a mag release that I could flick my finger to activate while maintaining a grip on the blaster.
This part is a complete replacement for both mag releases. Currently I have not designed a part to fill in the hole left by the back mag release, and do not plan on designing such a piece. Furthermore The actual 3d model is a straight piece, the way I achieved the curve seen in the picture was by heating the model up just enough to make it bendable and then just followed the curve of the blaster.
I printed my part with 8 walls and 80% infill. However I do believe one can get away with 2-4 walls and just 5-10% infill.
