A very simple cutting guide that makes it easy to cut a cake or pie into five equal slices, something which is quite hard to do freehand. Ideal for a family of five with trust issues :-)
The model is 180mm in diameter (about 7 inches) but you can easily scale it in your slicer if you want a different size. It prints quickly and easily, I used normal PLA filament.
Lay it on top of your cake, pie, tart, flan or quiche and run a knife along the slots to mark where to cut - you don't need to cut all thr through using the template.
This could be adapted to have blades or prongs sticking down that would mark the circular food item automatically, but then you'd have to clean it afterwards and there might be hygiene issues. Let me know what you think.
