Something that has become popular in science education has been inquiry cubes. I first learned about them through the Patterns Physics curriculum, but have also found a blog post by Joe Cossette to be very helpful in putting together this idea. Both are great resources to check out about how to implement these resources in the classroom.
Feel free to download the OpenSCAD files, which will allow you to design your own inquiry cube, or you can modify the ones I have provided.
***Please feel free to scale the models smaller. A size between 30 mm to 60 mm work well. Large is easier to read, but longer to print.
You can also add color in the slicer, or add color by using a marker or paint, which is probably easier.
Lastly, I threw in a couple cube covers in case you want to be able to have students keep them under cover and reveal them together.
Enjoy!!!
