The Noble NB4/NB4+ remote is really great, and the movable steering wheel ‘arm’ is nice to allow left and righ-handed driving, as well as going ‘flat’ for easier transport. The only negative I've found is that the wheel arm tends to move while I'm driving, if I apply a little extra pressure/force during steering inputs. This is extremely distracting, and it makes me lose my ‘reference point’, so to speak, for steering. Without an easy way to tighten that rotation mechansim, I found a simple solution in this 3D-printed piece that simply slides into place (on either side) in order to lock the arm at the ‘0 degree’ mark, for example.

I initially chose to print this from TPU, in order to get a little flex as it slides into place. But I've since tested it with PETG, and it works just fine as well. There are two ‘nubs’ that make it lock in place when they clear the sides of the steering arm.

In any case, the piece prints upright directly on the build plate without supports.

After sharing this print at my local track, I've had requests for other angles, so here's what 0 degrees, 15 degrees and 30 degrees look like:

So I have several angles now, and have even included mirrored versions for left-handed steering. The STEP files are labeled appropriately, and although only a few .3mf files are there, it's easy to re-import whatever angle and regenerate the gcode. Overall, the remote just feels a lot more solid with the “lock block” in place, so it's just one less thing to distract me during a race. Hope it's useful to you as well, enjoy!
