This is a fixture to hold a Wixey WR300 digital angle gage and mount it to an engine's crankshaft to measure port timing on a chainsaw motor.  You zero the angle gage when the piston is at top dead center, then rotate the engine until whichever port you're interested in opens or closes and read the angle off the gage.  It includes collets for the Stihl (MS250, MS660) and Husqvarna (372XP) motors I have. However you could probably modify it to work with other crankshafts by making different collets or modifying the clamp.

The fixture is made up of 3 parts - a bracket to hold the angle gage, a clamp, and a flexible collet.  The bracket has a pocket for a 5/16" long 4-40 bolt and nut that presses against a boss on the clamp to remove free play between the clamp and bracket.  The clamp uses a 1-1/8" long 4-40 bolt, washer and nut that tightens the clamp onto the crankshaft.

The included step file has all the parts located in their assembled state, but it is not a print in place design.  You have to separate the parts before printing.
