An offshoot from my previous design, the Nyanko-Sensei Glasses Holder: tray version! I had someone who wanted the glasses holder but just wanted a tray on their nightstand so I converted the vertical mount into a tray. There are two depths for the files I've attached here: shallow and deep (5mm deeper).
I printed this in matte white PLA with the cat face facing upward from the build plate. Nothing special about the settings to note. I used red sharpie to color in the dots around the eyes and black sharpie to fill in the eyes, nose, and mouth. For the orange and grey details, I just applied acrylic paint with a brush (note that I stippled with the brush to flood the area with paint and avoid streaky paint strokes).
I've also attached the STEP and Solidworks model for reference if you'd like to tweak the sizing and shape. Note that sketches aren't fully defined because it's mostly built from splines, plus I just slapped the splines together during a boring 30min work meeting haha.
Update 5/7/25: added a wider version that's in between the shallow and deep depths. I find this is a better size for glasses..
