This organizer in carousel form I made after the WERA-design which is more for personally set-up with inserts. Now you can make your own inserts for office supplies or small-modeling tools like drills; pens and pencils; tassels; 3dstuff; etc. etc.
All Organizers are made with PETG or PLA with standard settings of my Core One printer. All models are printed upright, and for the base and carousel no brim is needed only for the inserts. Look also at my Wera model how to make the rod of the base more massive. (for Prusa users)
There are two types: type 1 only inserts of 50mm to spare material and save time, or model 2 inner ring 75mm and the 2 outer rings 88mm inserts that cost more material and time. You need also 2 bearing like the 699-2RS and the 6203-C3 without sealing. place the bearings on the base and push the carousel carefully over the bearing.
For the inserts you must look to your printer tolerance to fit into the carousel, it's somewhere between 10,35-10,45 for the circumscribed polygon.
Two models are made with stoppers at 50mm but the depth is still 88mm/75mm these are a prototype. For me is the freestyle model my favorite and use it for my printer supplies.
Look to the files and photos it is self explanatory.
I give you all samples in fusion ; .step and .stl files so you can make your own organizer-carousel form. You can even make the design better for others. You can also delete my initials DWESC and make your own. I hope you like the picture…
I made a drawing in .jpg and convert to .svg of the „Human Evolution“ and the last one is (if you look closely) YOU, printing „Benchy“ to explore the world of 3d-printing.
