Compact and Secure Filter Holders for Vaonis Filters

Print Settings & Assembly

Update 04.02.2026: Added a closed Filtercase, per request 

Print Method: Print-in-place — no supports required. 
(Models shown are printed with a 0.6 mm nozzle; also successfully tested with a 0.4 mm nozzle)

Magnets Needed: 4x ⌀5mm x 2mm magnets per set (2 magnets per holder part).

Apply a small drop of glue to secure the magnets in the lid part. The Holder has two small openings to insert them, no glue needed

These custom-designed filter holders are made to keep your Vaonis filters secure, organized, and protected. Each holder is as compact as possible while still shielding your filters from scratches, fingerprints, and sunlight. Thanks to a combination of magnets and friction, the holders stay firmly closed and can even survive a fall onto hard surfaces. They are slightly smaller than the original plastic boxes and significantly more compact than the original cardboard packaging.

Filter Case

The accompanying case is also designed with minimal size in mind, securely holding all four filters in one place. It features a latch to keep it closed, ensuring your valuable filters stay safe during transport or storage. While currently only three filters are available, I use the extra slot to store my lens cap.
