Beefy Simple Hinge by Design8Studio - for using 2mm coat hanger wire as the hinge pin. This is compatible with the earlier version, yet is thicker, stronger, and setup for 45-degree printing to avoid the layer-line-adhesion issue for maximum strength for both the screw holes and the hinge pin holes. Compatible means here that its screw holes are in the same positions as the earlier version, and it can work where the earlier version is in use.

Suggested printing tips:

• Print in PLA
• 0.4 mm nozzle
• 0.2 mm layer height
• Perimeter walls: 3
• Supports required: yes. I used tree supports, and increased the angle from 30 to 40 to get supports further up the part.
• Infill: suggest 30%

Note: if you print at a thicker layer height, such as 0.28 mm, it may (likely will) make the hinge pin holes unfit for using 2mm coat hanger wire as the hinge pin. Stick with 0.2 mm layer height.

The included .3MF file is an OrcaSlicer setup file, keyed up for printing on a Flashforge Adventurer 5M.
