Reuse the speaker cone of Hitachi HTD-K210 surround system's speaker. Port tuned to approx 60 Hz.
Materials:
450g filament for box @ 15% infill
80g filament for front panel @ 15% infill
12 x M3X20mm screws
12 x M3 nuts
Any form of glue to glue the nuts onto the holes allocated for them.
foam tape
non quick dry glue or hot melt glue (AVOID QUICK DRY GLUE unless you are confident)
Notice:
- Would recommend using PETG for better reliability.
- Longer wiring may be required if you find it challenging to attach the speaker input port.
Assembly instructions
- insert the nuts at the holes allocated apply some glue on it
- poke a screw through the screw hole and use it to pull the nut in
- remove the screw before the glue dries to avoid stuck screw but keep a pulling pressure, so nut won't pop out
- once glue is dry, glue on the port tube with the end of the tube facing down and wait for glue to dry
- screw on the speaker
- place the panel on the box and pull the input port out from the back and screw it down
- Finally screw down the front panel
