This R2 Droid puzzle has articulating arms and feet that snap into place. When fully closed the top can still turn 360° and the arms have range-of-motion limits to help it stay upright while remaining posable.
Printing
Designed for 0.4mm nozzle and 0.14 - 0.18mm layer height. Using variable layer heights to make smaller layers on the rounded tops will produce better results.
No supports needed except for the main body shoulder joints. There are files with and without built-in supports for these.
I recommend a brim for the tall parts because they do not have much contact area at the bottom.
Assembly
Just push the feet onto the arms and center leg, then push the arms onto the shoulder joints. Quite a bit of force may be needed depending on the tolerances of your printer.
Make sure to put the correct feet on the correct parts as they will be very hard to remove once snapped into place. If you're planning on priming and painting the model, do it before assembling it.
