# 3D Printed Fly Reel
Version 2025.08.19
Updated 2025.08.19 to include parts for metric hardware and now includes instructions in the README file. I’ve also included the Fusion file in case anyone is interested.
This model started life as my remix of the fly reel created by @sthone_366509. Since my original remix I've essentially recreated the design so that I decided it needed it's own post.
This version differs from the original by @sthone_366509 in that the drag is adjustable. It also differs from my remix of that design in that the line is now reeled in in a counter-clockwise direction which I'm informed is the preferred direction. Also, the drag is now set using lever that limits the movement to a reasonable range.
