Multi-material printing is optional and provides an attractive front with space to imbed the owner's name. I printed with PLA+ and used a brim to keep the corners fully flat. Note: This model requires a 1/8" stainless steel rod for the hinge. I suggest cutting a 16" rod to 13.5" ( 343mm) or skimp with a single 12" rod. The model contains 8 circular voids for optional 6 mm diameter x 5 mm thick neodymium magnets which snap the case closed. These magnets are available online. If using magnets, set the slicer to pause printing just before the top layer. Apply a few drops of cyanoacrylate (superglue) to the holes, align magnets carefully and press them into the model. The cyanoacrylate glue sets the magnets in place so they don't hop out during printing.
This model was created in F360. The STEP has been included to encourage remixing. Also included is the DXF for the top profile so others can make their own more awesome design.
