I recently bought another one of these controllers since the hall effect stick update and am obsessed with the SNES controller form factor. I even swapped in the purple buttons for extra nostalgia.
To protect it during travel/in a bag, I designed this minimalist 2-piece snap fit hard case. Allows for charging while in the case and the symmetrical cutouts can be used to position hands for removal of the lid and controller.
What I used to print this:
- MK4S with a 0.4 nozzle (not the high flow one); printer enclosed.
- 0.2mm Speed profile.
- Default Prusament PLA filament settings.
- I printed both pieces flat sides down; the bridging on the lid for the controller decals create a cool texture as shown in the pictures.
