A friend likes to count all the dogs she sees while cycling, but on a long trek it's easy to lose track. The solution was a tally counter mounted on her handlebars she that can be clicked by a flick of her thumb.
This model holds a typical metal tally counter – this one was from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QFK6DG for $6.99.
To install: Removed the thumb ring from the counter and pop the counter securely into the mount. It then clamps on the handlebar with a small bolt and nut.
