Features 2 idler arms, one uses a HGX hob as an idler to bend the filament, the other uses 2 ball bearings to grip.
Sherpa Mini mounting pattern with an extra 3rd screw in the back, K-face support wip.
Only Step and STL files for now.
You'll need:
Base:
- set of BMG drive gears
- HGX 1.0 kit (separatable Papilio kind)
- 4 3 mm ID 5 mm OD needle bearings
- 3x 3x20 mm pin (one of them can be 24 mm for the idler pivot)
- HGX set spring tensioner
- HGX set heatset inserts
- HGX set bowden tube clip
- nema 14 8 or 10 teeth stepper motor
- 2x 683 bearings
- screws
Idlers arms:
Big hob:
- harvested HGX hob
- needle bearing
- 3x16 mm pin
Dual bearing:
- 2x 683 bearings
- 2x 3x8 mm pin (use a 20 mm pin and cut it into 2 pieces)
- 3x16 mm pin
