An OpenSCAD script and Makefile generate a single STL file with:

  • A raised logo and backing (intended for TPU).
  • A press plate and handle (intended for PLA).

I built this for my own projects, but try it out you’re into stamping things with your brand, symbol, or villainous insignia.

Quick Start

Edit Makefile and change these:

  • SVG: Path of your SVG file.
  • FINAL_WIDTH: width in mm of the impression you want to make.

Run make and open the resulting stamp.stl in your slicer.

Look at the other make targets for rendering a preview, opening in the OpenSCAD editor, and opening in Bambu Studio.

Assembly

I used:

  • M6x10mm cap head bolt
  • 4mm deep threaded insert
  • Rubber cement

If you want to use your own heat set threaded inserts, update the dimensions in the SCAD file to match your hardware.

Limitations

This doesn't handle SVG files with much other than a few paths. It may be sensitive to viewBox, etc. If you have trouble, simplify your SVG or submit a PR.

OpenSCAD can't center something you import. This code centers by the final width that you specify and uses the same value for height. Feel free to PR my laziness.

Print lines show in 95A TPU stamps. You can sand them but the results still are't as good as using a rubber stamp.
