I recently ordered a two pack of GH1200 super glue from Amazon. It's a pretty good glue for the price, and I like that the two pack has one thin viscosity for penetration and one thick for surface adhesion. The problem is that the bottles themselves are tall and quite narrow, which makes them extremely unstable, and they were constantly getting knocked over.
I created this model so that I could have a stable base I could put the glue bottles in, and it has been working out very well\. Now the glue bottles are nice and stable, and I never knock them over anymore.
Note: There is a tight tolerance of 0.3mm between the bottle and the base which makes for a snug friction fit, though you can still pull the bottle free if desired.
Materials:
- I used PLA, though I'm sure PETG or anything else would work fine.
- I used glow in the dark on one just because I still had it loaded in the AMS, but I can see how that might be useful in low light conditions.
