Beyblade X String Launcher Gear Replacement/Upgrade

Modified with 3d printing in mind. The modified version shrinks the inner diameter to increase power. 

Print Settings:

Support: No

Brim: No

Walls: 2 (min)

infill: 10% (min)

Align the seam away from the gaps

Build Instructions:

Step 1:

Tie a knot at the end of the string and do it using either method

There's an issue in the design where this bit of residue will always exist. Use a craft knife to remove it 

Step 2:

Align the top and bottom together. The holes are misaligned, so there's only 1 way to set it up 

Remove the screws from the original launcher and transfer to new gear

Step 3:

Transfer the spring to the new spring holder. Have it poking right for right spin, poking left for left spin. 

Step 4

Insert it in. Bend the end to a 90-degree angle and fit it in the slot; the more in there, the more durability/reducing the chance it slips back. Once you align it, it should just pop in with a click

Step 5

When you insert it back into the launcher, spin the string at least 2 times counterclockwise (For right spin)  so that there's tension for the string to pull back. More than 2 times increases the tension, but reduces the maximum string pulling potential. 

End Notes:

Unfortunately, the PLA gives out at the layer lines if you pull too hard.

 But if you want to improve its durability. You can add a drop of super glue at the marked spot, and it will dramatically increase durability
